Chocolate Fruit
This simple fall cake was inspired by a walk through a fruit orchard. Maple leaves, made from thin wafer cookies, adorn the base of each tier resembling covered pathways, while hand sculpted and painted miniature apples, pears and cherries were placed to mimic the fruit that had fallen off trees.
